If you’ve wandered onto Fortune Green of late, you may have noticed a couple of wood carvings.

The Friends of Fortune Green website has more on both these sculptures. The fox took 100 hours to complete and is carved out of oak. The owl – somewhat amazingly – is carved entirely using chainsaws. Make sure you take a look next time you’re strolling round the park.
